New Year, New Activewear

Oh, hi! Remember me? Probably not–it's been a minute... or maybe three months.

But the New Year has me inspired to get back to doing some of the things I love and that includes blogging. You could say it's my 'New Year's Resolution'.

Speaking of New Year's Resolutions, I know many jump back on the fitness bandwagon this time of year. While fitness is something that is very important to me, I also understand the struggle of working it into your busy schedule and overcoming those "Nooooo, I don't wanna" days. So, I've compiled some cute activewear (don't worry, you won't find $110 leggings on my list, woof!) to get your butt in gear and next week I'll be sharing some easy health and fitness tips that work for me.

 
I love quotes, puns and fun sayings on my t-shirts, home decor and jewelry so it only makes sense to bring that humor to my activewear (maybe you saw my personal collection in this post on Instagram). Plus, I tend to get lots of laughs and comments on them at the gym so I'd like to think they bring joy to others, as well. :) Forever 21 has some really fun tops for super cheap, but I've also found some great ones at Target, Muscles and Donuts, Love Fitness Apparel and Etsy.

My go-to for workout pants is Old Navy. They're thick and great quality for the price! I've found that I can only wear high-waisted ones or else I end up pulling my pants up throughout my entire workout. They also allow you to wear shorter tops or crop tops without showing too much skin. With that said, I do tend to stay away from prints/patterns and light or bright colors because I find them super unflattering (on me at least). Who am I kidding, all of my pants are black.


As for sports bras, the more straps, the better! I like ones with molded cups and have found great ones at Target, Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret (The Semi-Annual sale is going on right now, too, so there are all kinds of great deals!).
