My winter wardrobe typically consists of chunky sweaters and layers and layers of fabric to make coping with bone chilling cold more bearable. Seriously, quilted vests and big blanket scarves are my part of my winter uniform on super cold days. Why do I live here?! Thankfully, this winter has been unseasonable warm in Indiana and my typical February ensemble has been completely thrown out of the window and replaced with spring-ready outfits like this one, and dare I say it, T-SHIRTS.
I can't even begin to describe to you the joy of being able to don a simple jeans and tee look. Basics outfits like this are my all-time fave. I love the ease and comfort of just being able to put an outfit and not have to worry about freezing to death all day long. In the case of this outfit, I've been looking forward to wearing this floral tank since I purchased it in St. Thomas this past December. I didn't think I'd get the opportunity so soon, but I totally capitalized on wearing it while attending a bridal expo with my sister and her bridal squad recently.
Having an outfit fall together is the best, there's no denying that. Luckily I had enough foresight when I was packing for the weekend to throw this adorable pink cardigan in my bag because the whole outfit came together completely unplanned. Maybe I should pack in a frenzy at all times? I highly recommend checking out the Billabong line for spring because the amazing gauzy comfortable fabric and the subtle floral patterns are equal parts cool girl chic and effortlessly comfortable–and who doesn't want that?
Side note: unfortunately I couldn't find the tank, but I didn't find the print in an off the shoulder top and dress! I might need these, too!
