Is it a shirt or is it a jacket, thankfully I don't have to classify these things because Topshop has cleverly deemed this a "shacket". Dual purpose clothing like this will always have a place in my closet. I've never been much of a camouflage girl, but when I saw this at Nordstrom I gravitated toward the muted tones. Once I finally made up my mind that I needed it in my life, it was sold out at Nordstrom and I finally tracked it down at Topshop.com. Score!
I have so many outfit ideas swirling around my head featuring this Topshop camo "shacket", so don't be super surprised if you see this piece debut on the blog again. So many of my favorite bloggers have been worn camo in the fall for years, but apparently I'm just now getting comfortable with it. Or maybe designers are just making a better camouflage jacket? Who knew that I would view camo as a leopard-like neutral that is super versatile that pairs perfectly with the changing season. With so many designers and stores carrying similar items and affordable price points, why not give it a shot?
If you're like me–a camo wearing newbie–try pairing it with a monochromatic outfit for a pop of pattern, or even just with jeans and booties for a casual dressed down look. You'll be a style veteran in no time. If you liked mine, I've linked the exact one below!
