Where to Brunch in Indy: Rosie's Place

From left: Kelli of Big Hair and Foodie Fare | Brittney of The Pretty Plus | Ashley of fASHionately Me

Last weekend we had the opportunity to get together with some of our local blogger besties for a delicious brunch at the cutest little place just north of Indy called Rosie's Place. You know those cute little cafes you see on TV where you can sit on the street and sip a latte while eating a scone? Yeah, this is that place for us! Set in the old town square of Noblesville, this gem features homemade Midwestern fare for breakfast and lunch and serves the most amazing baked goods (note: the gooey butter cookies are to DIE for).

Summer Instagram Roundup, Part One

It's hard to believe that it's the end of June already - where has the summer gone!? Despite the fact that we sit in an office all day, we've had small opportunities here and there to get out and enjoy the season – or at least celebrate it with our style! Take a look at some of our latest Instagram posts and be sure to follow along with us through the rest of summer (and for all of time): @kacienicoleclark and @jaimecostilow.

In love with this adorable (and super comfy) off-the-shoulder romper from Target! This print is no longer available but it comes in a variety of other colors and prints!

Loving this plaid tank I picked up at TJ Maxx for only $12 and these TopShop flats may be my favorite purchase! Let's also focus on these amazing Quay Australia sunnies - all the heart eyes - and I've been wearing them on repeat.

In Knots

Finding your stride with summer style can be tricky when you're trying to tackle chilly office temps and blazing summer heat at the same time. Since I work in an office that allows more casual attire, I can get away with a little more in terms of clothing options. Thankfully so or I probably would have not been able to wear this fabulous knotted maxi skirt to work. Did I mention this skirt, tank and chambray all totaled less than $40? Definitely a wallet win!

Picnic Perfect

Happy Official First Day of Summer!! Last Friday the weather was beautiful and the weather was perfect for a picnic. Too bad that's not what I actually did. Nope, I had to work. But I did get to sit on this picnic table for photos, scarf down my lunch and then rush back to the office for a meeting so that's pretty much the same thing right?! At least my outfit was ready for a picnic...

Short & Sweet

I'm not going to lie, I've been super lazy lately when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. I've found myself stocking up on dresses because its a comfy, all-in-one outfit that does not require putting on pants. See, I told you I was lazy!

In the midst of everyone going crazy over Starbucks' "Pink Drink" Jaime and I decided to shake things up (yeah, we're wild) and try the Cool Lime Refresher with coconut milk and it is just as delicious. It took everything in me not to suck it down during this photo shoot.

Summer Beauty Must-Haves

Summer Beauty

While we've begun to celebrate summer with all of the usual outdoor activities, our skin has likely gone through some changes - some good (bronzey tan, yes!), some bad (dry skin, no!). It's been a while since we did a beauty post here on Regally Soled and since the first official day of summer is on Monday I thought, what better time than now?

Go with the Flow

Some days I need to remind myself to "Go with the Flow" and forget about outside influences, bad days, or even wind that manages to pick up in 95.7% of the blog photos I take. Nothing in life is perfect or guaranteed, so why let something so trivial and minute bother me so much. I think as bloggers we strive to get that perfect photo–complete with expertly done makeup and hair–and let's be honest, you'll always find something that you don't care for in even the most beautiful of photos. So even though the wind was blowing and my hair was all over the place, I'm choosing to enjoy the way this outfit made me feel instead of focusing on the negativity.

Boho Native

Ever since early spring, I have been drawn to the 70s trend with its free-spirited, boho vintage vibes. Faux suede, fringe, turquoise, feathers... I've got it all in this one look! AND if you'll look closely in some of these photos you'll see little tiny baby ducks in the water behind me - too cute!!

Uncommon Gifts for Him

Men's Gift Guide for All Occasions

Every year June rolls around and my calendar is jam packed with weekend trips and celebrations–including my anniversary (cheers to 6 years!) and Father's Day. With all of the weekend fun, both of those days sneak up on me and I end up scrambling to find the perfect gift. This year I'm actually planning ahead–kinda–and finding the perfect gifts for my husband and dad. Instead of opting for a gift card, I try and find unique gifts that align with the person's interests and hobbies. One place I always seem to navigate toward is Uncommon Goods. Their prices are reasonable and each of their items are unique handmade goods created by equally unique artisans and creative thinkers.

Through the Looking Glass

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved the magical world of Alice in Wonderland–where games of croquet are played with flamingo mallets and hedgehog balls, a perpetually late rabbit frantically hops around in a three piece suit and wonky tea parties occur, complete with rabbits and mice as guests. Luckily my best friend, Lauren, shares my love for all things Wonderland and in light of the upcoming sequel we hosted a brightly colored tea party–complete with glassware from Warsaw Cut Glass–that even the Mad Hatter would envy.
