Flirty Floral

Wearing florals in the spring isn't groundbreaking style by any means. It never fails though, every year when the weather warms up, I want to break away from winter clothes and wear floral patterns and an overall lighter color palette. This Free People top I picked up at Elysian Co a few weeks ago is definitely a hybrid mix between winter hues and spring florals and I'm all to happy to wear it.

I'd be lying if I said this beautiful floral top was meant to be a top, but actually I think it's suppose to be a slip dress. Since I wanted to wear it to work, I opted for an ensemble a little more conservative in nature and styled it with a pair of grey skinnies from Old Navy, denim jacket and heels. When summer rolls around, and I'm not headed off to the office, maybe I'll be a bit more brave and wear it as a dress...who am I kidding, that's never going to happen, but a girl can dream. Ha!

    1. The struggle is real, especially when you're 5'5" like I am and everything borders on tunic to begin with. Ha!

    1. Thanks girl! It's a bit of a throwback for me, but I love it nonetheless. It's such a fun top and the indecisive weather in Indiana is the perfect match for the darker floral print.
