Colorful Coral & Cobalt

Seriously, say that title three times fast, it's definitely a tongue-twister. I originally bought this H&M sweater mainly because I liked the color, but had about zero ideas of how I could wear it. I've been seeing bright sweaters like this on some of my other favorite bloggers and I thought I'd give it a whirl. Turns out, I really love this color duo and it was perfect for the sunny spring day–when we actually had warm weather, unlike now, where the temps are back to the 30's. Thanks Indiana, real cool.

I was officially adulting big time today. My husband and I officially closed on our construction loan and have since started the process of building our new home. Seriously, who knew choosing design elements during the construction process could be so difficult. I have never seen so many shades of brown in my entire life. Whew! Secondly, Kacie and I went to a VIP preview of a new Mexican restaurant in Indy called Nada. Let me tell you, after signing my life away, margaritas were definitely in order and this girl was more than happy to partake in happy hour and guac–colorful clothing and all.

On another note–I totally forgot I had this feathered Stella & Dot necklace (last seen here). I'm seriously in love with the versatility of all of their pieces!

  4. That is a tongue twister! lol. The color of the sweater is perfect for spring and I love how you styled it! I think bright sweater look amazing with white jeans :) I hope the weather warms back up for you! And good luck picking out all the stuff for your house! Have you checked out Build.com? They have so much home stuff and the prices are way better than you can get other places because they're only online so they don't have overhead costs. We bought everything for our kitchen remodel through Build and we're remodeling our bathrooms and are going to order through them again :) If you do order through Build ask for Liz Thomas (liz.thomas@build.com). She's amazing and can totally help you pick stuff out and get you good deals, just tell her I sent you.

    1. Thanks for the sweet comments, Kacie! I'll definitely have to check out Build.com. I know our builder is super flexible in terms of what materials, etc. we'd like to use so I'll definitely check it out. It's always nice to find areas where you can save when you're building.

  7. Cobalt is my all time fave color! And loved coral one time too, and still do. Didn't think about pairing both but they actually look good together!

    1. It's such a great, rich color isn't it? Kacie actually helped me pair up these colors while I was debating back and forth about what to wear. The pairing ended up to being super fun!

    1. Thanks girl! I wouldn't have normally put them together either since both are typically pretty bold on their own.
