Time for Spring

Back in the day, there were so many fashion rules that have since become outdated. Combing black and navy, mixing metals and patterns and wearing the same color head to toe were among the list of fashion no-no's. At the top of the fashion rule list was to not white after labor day. Listen friends, rules were mean to be broken, especially when it comes to getting dressed, and I'm glad that white is now a year round color because I would have really missed wearing outfits like this one in the winter.

There is something about an all white look that begs to be worn in the winter. Adding this cozy grey cardigan (last seen in this post) made my all white look feel instantly more chic and winter ready. The look wasn't complete without piling on some fun jewelry, like this Stella & Dot necklace and fun MVMT watch. The pearl dial and tan leather band totally matched these soft suede Sam Edelman booties. The classic design and minimalist look complimented my outfit–and what more could you ask for!

If you haven't checked out MVMT watches, definitely do so–you won't be disappointed! I'm pretty positive that my husband is going to be the lucky recipient of this men's watch. The black dial,  serenity blue hands and tan leather strap make this watch a standout!

    1. Thanks Darcy! The gold ring is actually from Old Navy. I saw it as I was going through the check out line and had to bring it home with me. Be on the look out at your local Old Navy for it–I know it's still in stores. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Its funny because all of those one fashion "no-nos" are in style now. I love white pants paired with other whites/neutrals in the winter because it makes for a look that reminds me of snow.

    1. Exactly! It's always seemed to me that fashion is more about how you translated trends into your personal style than actually abiding by any rules.
