This outfit was perfect to ring in the holiday that celebrates love because rose quartz has often been dubbed the "love stone" and inspires the love of beauty, in oneself and others. Even though I've had this coat for many years, the subtle pink hue and structured military shape has always helped break me out of any winter blues I may be experiencing. Speaking of, can it be spring yet?
Before blogging, I would have told you that any shade of light pink was definitely not my cup of tea. However, I've changed my tune in recent months and fallen in love with color and how well it pairs with my olive skin. After putting together this grey on grey look, I knew I needed to soften the outfit up and this pink coat definitely did the trick.
PS - it was so cold that when we finished taking photos we couldn't feel our hands. Awesome. Let's just say I'm going to remember to throw gloves in my bag before running out the door to do photos in the snow.
