A Day at the Orchard

Between selling our house, moving into a rental and trying to get plans squared away to build (maybe), I've been way more stressed that what I'm used to. Life is finally getting back to normal and to celebrate a return to the relaxation, my husband and I decided to head to a local-fave, Anderson Orchard. I can't even begin to say how long it's been since I've been to an orchard, but I was super excited to enjoy a stress-free, sunny fall day.

Jacket: Miss Selfridge Utility Jacket | Top: Glam Boutique {sold out; similar} | Jeans: Old Navy Rockstar Distressed Jeans | Sunglasses: Burberry | Necklace: Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace via Rocksbox {use code JAIMEBFF for your first month free} | Rainboots: J.Crew Chelsea Leopard

It had been SUPER rainy the day before and tromping around in mud was not my cup of tea, so I opted for leopard rain boots–just in case. The day started out chilly, so it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new olive utility coat and comfy marsala tunic tee. Walking around in the orchard totally made me wish we lived in a more rural setting. Then I remembered I have a penchant for shopping and enjoy having tons of stuff just a short car ride away. Ha! It's safe to say, this city girl is staying firmly planted in the city...enjoying her orchard apples.

  6. Moving is so stressful! After selling both our first and second homes, we lived in our trailer until we bought again because we didn't want to have to deal with the stress of finding a place to rent. lol. Of course, since you plan on building, it's best you found a home to rent because that would be a long time in a trailer. Ha! I hope the building process isn't too stressful and you're able to find lots of time to relax!
