Playing with Plaid

Just when I think it's safe to break out my soft and cozy plaid top the weather takes a turn and it's in the 70's again. Oh well, I guess there's not better time than the present! From the second I received this top I was so excited to wear it on a crisp fall day. As luck may have it, it was sunny and warm by the time Kacie and I left for lunch and we were both sweating. Super cute, huh?

Wearing – Plaid: Rails LA c/o Shopbop | T-shirt: Old Navy {old} | Jeans: Old Navy Rockstar Skinny Jeans | Shoes: Zara {old; exact match} | Necklace: Stella & Dot Plume Necklace | Earrings: Perry Street Earrings via Rocksbox

While sweating while taking your blog photos may not be the greatest moment, this outfit surely helped to make it better. I love the versatility of plaid and how comfortable it is–especially as the weather starts to cool down. I'm a big fan of red so I was super pumped to get this cherry and cobalt hued plaid and pair it with these amazing Zara shoes (another eBay find!) and a simple tee and fun statement necklace. Perfect fall look achieved!

Don't forget–today's the last day to enter to win the Stella & Dot Silver Rebel Cluster necklace!

  5. Very pretty layered look which is dressy yet casual. Your accessories (earrings, necklace, heels) are all gorgeous and they tie in with the colors of your plaid shirt. Well done.

    Take Care, Ada. =)
