Plaid Ambition

If you would have told me that I would be rocking Converse shoes and wearing plaid again I would have laughed politely and told you that you were crazy. Yet, here I am going back to my roots and breaking out plaid and converse yet again in life.

Wearing – Plaid: c/o Satori Crystal Boutique | Tshirt: J.Crew Factory Layering V-Neck (must-have in every color!) | Jeans: Old Navy Rockstar Skinny Jeans | Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor Shore-line Slip-on | Necklace: Tiffany & Co Arrow Necklace | Watch: Vince Camuto Rose Gold Pyramid Watch | Bracelet: John Hardy Naga Dragon; Banana Republic T {sold out} | Sunglasses: Burberry Oversized

But how can you not love plaid? It's super easy to go from stylish to lumberjack in about 5 seconds so wear carefully friends. I love this particular plaid from Satori Crystal Boutique because it's super light and the plaid colors are perfectly muted to create this lived in look. You also can't go wrong with the length either. This top will be super cute later this fall belted with leggings and boots.

As for the Converse shoes, I think they've replaced my Toms as my go-to basics. Who knew they were so comfortable?!

  5. Love this plaid! You look adorable! I agree on the converse from Toms conversion too. I have three pairs and they're on near constant rotation in my life these days.

    1. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Tom's, but I can totally see these being my go-to shoe. They still are lightweight without feeling bulky, but I think they will be great for fall and winter.

  8. It is pretty funny how trends and styles are so cyclical. I never thought flares would be cool again but here they are!
