Peace, Love, Wine

A few nights ago, the ladies of the Indy Blog Society had the opportunity to meet up at Peace Water Winery in the Carmel Arts & Design District - a really cute little area north of Indianapolis. Neither of us had ever been to this specific winery and jumped at the chance to chat with some of our favorites and experience a guided wine tasting. Yes, please!

So besides this place being absolutely adorable inside (I mean, did you see that chandelier?), it also has a great story behind it! We learned that 50% of proceeds go to charities chosen by the owners' eight children. How does it work? When you purchase a bottle of wine, you receive a fun little token to put in the basket next to your chosen charity on the Giving Wall (shown above)! How cool is that? If you're in Indy, we highly recommend checking them out!

We spent the evening meeting new bloggers to follow, chatting, taking photos and of course, sampling some amazing wines. All in all, a great night in our book and we can't to see when and where the next meet-up will be. Cheers!
