What To Wear To A Spring Wedding

It's that time of year again. You know - the time when every weekend in the foreseeable future is filled with wedding showers, bachelorette parties, weddings and so on (yay for love!). Being invited to attend as a guest is both an honor and an opportunity to get dressed up and celebrate! Of course, this is the bride's special day so how do you look great whilst not stealing the show? Best believe we've got some tips.

Be Romantic in Lace

A huge trend right now as we crawl out from under our winter layers, - lace - is perfect for a wedding. Whether you opt for a colorful lace skirt, a classic white lace top with a fun skirt or a girly lace dress like this one from H&M, you can't go wrong for such a romantic occasion.

Be Seasonal in Pastels

Obviously, all white should be reserved for the bride so pastels are a great way to add some color while maintaining a lighter color palette. Pastels are hugely on trend right now and can be incorporated into your look in so many different ways! Pastel shoes are a great option as well as a palely hued dress or a fun printed skirt like this Sweet Lemonade Pastel Multiprint Midi Skirt from Lulus (under $70!).

Be Feminine in a Flare Dress

Flare dresses are all the rage right now for their cute little shape and endless designs, colors, and patterns. Perfect for a wedding and easily re-purposed for other life events, these dresses give an instant girly flare that'll put you in the mood to catch that bouquet! How much do you love this pink fit and flare dress from Asos or this classic blue and white one from SheInside that is less than $20 -seriously?!

Be Modest in a Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits (and "playsuits" - AKA rompers) are a new obsession of ours and can make a perfect all-in-one wedding outfit! Play with color, go with classic black or try a daring nude one like this fitted jumpsuit from ASOS. Or, you could tie all of these trends into one with this adorable romper from Impressions Boutique - it's pastel and has lace accents. BOOM!

Finish your look with some dainty jewelry (a wedding is not the place for your statement jewels) and a metallic clutch and you are ready to send the happy couple into marriage.

What are you planning to wear to an upcoming wedding?
