Regal Faves | Drugstore Beauty Gems

Drugstore Beauty Finds
Let me tell you, this girl loves Sephora. This girl also can't always afford buy everything she wants from there. That's when I skip over to the local Holy Grail, AKA Target, REDcard in hand. In all honesty, you'd be surprised at some of the hidden gems you can find when it comes to beauty (or everything - I mean, it's Target we're talking about here). Let's take a quick look at the items above and then head to your closest drugstore this weekend to try 'em out!

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

I use this oil on the ends of my hair after I dry it. It soaks in super fast and keeps my ends looking healthy between hair appointments.

Garnier® Skin Renew Dark Spot Anti-Sun Damage Daily Moisturizer SPF 28

Jaime will probably punch me in the face for saying this (her eye cream alone costs $80 and that is just the beginning of her skincare regimen), but I really like this facial moisturizer. I've never been big into skincare but as I enter my late-late twenties, I'm beginning to take more notice. In a pinch, this one works great!

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray

So Meijer sent us this product to try out earlier this Winter and I love it! The bottle is huge, it's affordable and it works great. I spritz some on as the final step of my makeup application and it helps my makeup last throughout the day.

TRESemme Expert Selection Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray

I can be very lazy when it comes to my hair and since it also has a natural wave to it, some days I just let that mess air dry and spraying on some of this sea salt spray helps my waves form nicely and adds some great shine!

e.l.f. Blush - Twinkle Pink

There are some makeup items that I am perfectly fine with spending extra money on - blush is not one of them. I began using this blush last Fall and I adore it. And seriously - it's $3!!

NYX Lipstick

I'm not highlighting a specific color because let's face it, what looks good on me may not look good on someone else. What I am highlighting is the brand of lipstick. This lip color is highly pigmented, goes on smooth and lasts forever. Go pick a shade and give it a try!

COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows - Shimmering Sands

How many times have you bought an expensive eye shadow palette only to use half the colors and never touch some of the others? I do it with nearly every one I have. I started using this eye shadow in high school and to this day, it is still my go-to. The Shimmering Sands trio offers the perfect shimmery neutral shades for every day.

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara

I love a good mascara but sometimes I just need something quickly. I decided to try this one when I saw someone else had compared it to my favorite TooFaced mascara. This one coats your lashes and spreads them out giving you full, dark lashes. It's a winner in my book!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

I love this concealer because of it's spungey applicator and that fact that it has ingredients that actually help erase the appearance of dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. It also works great as a highlighter for contouring!

These are some of my faves - what are your favorite drugstore beauty finds? I love trying new stuff!

    1. I decided to try the e.l.f. and NYX brands because so many people were comparing them to more expensive brands and they are correct - you should give them a try!

  4. I should definitely use the serum on just my ends. Too oily for the rest of my hair! I definitely need that makeup setting spray! Thanks for the suggestions!

  6. I've been living by that Fructis Serum for years- it's seriously so great at keeping the frizz away! And I love the CG eyeshadow too, since those are the colors I use most frequently, and it's so compact. No need for a huge palette of colors I hardly use! Stopping by from the linkup!

    1. Yes!! The serum has definitely made my hair healthier by preventing my end from getting dry and I completely agree about the eye shadow. I actually use all three colors and don't have to mess with blues and pinks that I'll never use in big palettes :)

  7. Great finds! I have been using the voluminous mascara for years! I strayed away a few times when it was out of stock at my store, but immediately regretted it and when on a mission to find it lol. The garnier anti-frizz serum is great too! Another great garnier product is the 5-action hair elixir. I use it daily and it's amazing!
