While Ms. Priestly dismisses this as nothing groundbreaking, we're of the mindset that people look forward to casting aside their dark clothing for the more spring-like florals that come into play each year as the seasons change. Last fall, the runways were budding with floral prints and even floral appliques that made each picturesque bloom blossom from the clothing in stunning 3-D effects. This trend is nothing close to earth shattering in terms of style evolution, but every stylish girl knows that the floral trend is here to stay and can be worked into their wardrobe in a variety of ways.
Let's not get carried away and wear floral prints all at once because let's be honest, you may look slightly crazy–like should be tending to your garden with your 10 cats crazy. Instead, try incorporating individual pieces, such as floral skirts or floral print dresses into your wardrobe first. We are huge fans of floral shoes also that allow you to work this blossoming trend into your footwear. What says spring more than pastel floral print shoes and soft, flowing floral print tops? OR a floral tote to carry around your most prized possessions. Yep, you can tell this is one trend we can't wait to break out of it's winter hibernation in our closets.
Have you purchased any floral prints to wear this upcoming spring? We'd love to see the pieces you've chosen!
