Winter Pastels

Wearing – Sweater: Anthropologie | Tank: Express | Pants: Dittos
Necklace: J.Crew {old} | Watch: Vince Camuto | Bracelet: Anthropologie {sold out} |
Shoes: BCBG {old}

I woke up this morning even more chipper than usual. As you've probably gathered, I am a total morning person. Whether it's 3:00am or 6:00am, I hop out of bed immediately in a good mood and ready to take on the day. I totally attribute this to getting at least 7+ hours of sleep each night. What can I say, I need my beauty sleep! I annoy my co-workers the second I walk in the door because as they are reaching for coffee and any caffeine they can get their hands on, I'm completely uncaffeinated and completely chipper. Just a big ball of energy, folks!

So let's just say when I got dressed this morning, I was even more chipper than usual. I don't know if I can attribute that to more sleep, my excitement to wear this outfit or that fact that I was 1 lbs. down on the scale (which is a major feat for this girl!). So without looking at the forecast for the day, I donned this pastel perfection and headed out the door. I knew I was in for trouble when I got halfway to work and it was raining. Awesome. White pants and rain don't mix friends.

Rain or no rain, I was determined to get this outfit photographed. My determination lead Kacie and I to get rained upon in this strange misty haze that was coming down. But, I totally lucked out and was able to get photos in quickly during lunch, and then make a run to Target to gather some much-needed office snacks for the rainy afternoon.

    1. Thank Julie! I think it's wishful thinking for spring. Ha! But also, I'm sick of wearing dark colors, so there's always that factor. Definitely break out the white denim right now!

    1. Thank you Lauren! It's funny that I've been wearing a lot of light colors lately because I am SO not a fan of pastels on myself. But I loved this sweater so much I knew I had to wear it with a lighter look.

  3. I'm impressed! Once I wake up, I am usually pretty chipper, but it does take me a couple of minutes and definitely some coffee. :) Digging the monochromatic look. I've been loving how everyone is styling white for the winter.

    1. I am crazy chipper in the morning, sans coffee! My coworkers find this quite unfortunate however, and my husband has to remind me constantly that not everyone likes to chat in the morning. Ha!

    1. Thank you Alissa! I'm migrating more and more to blush tones. At one point I thought that blush didn't pair well with my olive skin, but I'm becoming more and more open to it.
