Queen of Hearts

Wearing – Top: Express | Bow Tie: ASOS {sold out; similar} | Skirt: Dry Goods | Tights: Target | Shoes: BCBG {old}| Bracelets: David Yurman 1, 2 | Watch: Michael Kors

Queue Taylor Swift's "Wonderland" as my theme song for this post, because I totally feel like I've hopped down the rabbit hole yet again and I've been tricked into painting the rose's red in the Queen of Hearts' garden. Just to answer any lingering questions you may have, yes, I've watched Alice and Wonderland far too many times in my lifetime. My post this fall made me feel like the Mad Hatter so I was definitely feeling a little deja vu with this look.

But seriously, how cute is this oversized bow tie from ASOS? It's since sold out, but you can still purchase slightly smaller versions still. I'm a big fan of bows in general, but anytime I can wear bows accompanied by polka dots and my favorite red is an excellent day in my book.

I don't know about you, but I'm totally game for some flamingo and hedgehog croquet this afternoon as long as I can wear this outfit! One thing is for sure, I feel like I missed a great opportunity to yell, "Off with their heads!" at anyone who irritated me today.

  10. Ahhh this outfit is fabulous! I love the bow with the polka dot top. I've been wanting to get one, but can't seem to find a good one. Such a shame that the one you have on is sold out :( Thank you for the suggestion though!
