Best (P)laid Plans

Wearing – Top: GAP {old; similar} | Jeans: Old Navy | Boots: Nordstrom {old; similar} | Scarf: Stacy Brown Designs | Bracelets: Olive + Piper {sold out} | Belt: Anthropologie {old} | Necklaces: Layered & Long | Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington

I'm a huge fan of the blanket scarf trend, or any scarf in general. The luxe look of plaid, however, gets me every time. You'd think after living through the 90's I'd be sick of plaid, but I think it has such a classic look that I could never truly tire of it. However, while I love this monogrammed beauty, I styled this look completely around my amazing Daniel Wellington watch. As you saw in this previous post, I'm all about the this watch's versatility and the slim, minimalist face. You have probably noticed that I typically love big, chunky accessories. From bracelets to necklaces and earrings, I typically wear large statement pieces. However, I found that this watch pairs perfectly with them and provides just the classic look I love.

In lieu of the holiday season, Daniel Wellington is offering Regally Soled readers a 15% discount off any purchase they make at http://www.DanielWellington.com when using the code holiday_regallysoled. In addition to 15% off their fabulous collection, you can also get free gift wrapping when you purchase an extra strap and free world wide shipping. As with every holiday season, I'm always looking for ways to save and I've definitely found one here!

I absolutely agree with you, plaid is a classic and it's perfect for the cold weather season. It's like a winter staple! But I have never tried a blanket scarf because I couldn't figure out how to style it but the way you've belted it with that adorable belt is perfect! I love it! Happy to announce you have a brand new follower! I look forward to all of your future inspiration! ;)
