Jaime's Thanksgiving Style
Top: JCPenney | Tank: Express | Pants: Old Navy {old; similar} | Horn Necklace: The Shopping Bag | Shorter Necklaces: Long & Layered Boutique | Shoes: Sam Edelman {old}| Bracelets: Charming Charlie's & Olive + Piper | Watch: Vince Camuto
With families in northern Indiana and Ohio, we determined the best way to spend time with our families during the holidays was to head to Ohio for Thanksgiving, and then spend Christmas with my family in northern Indiana. That way we could spend ample time with each of our families without feeling the need to run off to the next event. So while in all actuality I'll probably be wearing my finest yoga pants and comfy tee, this would be a great Thanksgiving outfit. The harvest-y colored pants, neutral top and fun horn necklace would be perfect for a day with family.
Kacie's Thanksgiving Style
Even though it's just my immediate family at my parent's house for dinner, I still like to dress up for Thanksgiving. This blush colored blouse is a perfect match for my faux fur vest that I got on eBay for less than $12 (can you believe that??), light-washed denim jeans and nude snakeskin pumps. And these Linda Oval Drop Earrings add the extra touch of sophistication that I needed to complete this look.
Don't Forget about the Hostess
While rushing around, crossing loved one's gifts off your list, don't forget to get a small gift for each of the hostesses whose parties you'll be attending this year. We've compiled some ideas below from our friends at The Shopping Bag. Pick up a few of these items and dazzle your hostess, because after all who wouldn't want a set of silicone teacup molds for baking or some fabulous scrub from our favorite, Farmhouse Fresh.
Ziggy Rectangular Platter | TeaCupcakes Bake & Serve Cupcake Molds | Au Chocolat Soy Wax Candle | Farmhouse Fresh Watermelon-Basil Vodkatini Body Scrub | Farmhouse Fresh Clementine Body Oil | Quatrefoil Thank You Cards | Ziggy Trio Tray | Matyroshkas Nesting Dolls Measuring Cups

I am dying over this blush top! I love how you paired it with similar colored hues. It looks so modern. I swear Forever21 has the best stuff. Our Thanksgiving is casual too, but it's nice to have a fun outfit to wear.

Thank you - I totally agree about Forever 21! They have some really great stuff and with trends changing as regularly as they do, the price is just right! I'm definitely the only one who dresses up for Thanksgiving in my family but it's fun so I do it anyway, haha!
DeleteWhoops, I somehow thought these were two different posts, and I was going to comment on the outfits separately! Sorry! Jamie, I love the top! I have been searching for something like that and may need to check JCP. The colored denim is the perfect holiday pairing!

ReplyDeleteJaime has smelled it and she said it was ah-mazing! I definitely recommend eBay for the faux fur. It's a fun piece but not something you'll wear that often so finding a bargain is a good idea!
DeleteBoth of these are so amazing!! I love the blush and burgundy used in each outfit :) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
