Staying Neutral

Wearing - Top: J.Crew Factory | Skirt: Francesca's {available in store only, similar here} |
Necklace: Baublebar, Tiffany & Co | Bracelet: David Yurman 1, 2 | Watch: Michael Kors
Ring: David Yurman | Shoes: BCBG Max Azria

Does this skirt look familiar? I thought so. That would be because I showcased it dressed up last week, but don't worry I'd still wear it everyday if it was socially acceptable. Ha! While I would have loved to wear it with my crop top again, that look really isn't office acceptable yet in Indiana. So for a more office-friendly style, and dressed down look, I paired this fab skirt with a simple J.Crew tshirt and silver accessories. But don't worry, my love for shoes won out and I added a pair of neutral-tone snakeskin heels to the mix, instead of wearing flats.

Workplace attire definitely trumps my need for style sometimes, but I do have my go-to tops, skirts and pants that are workplace approved. What are some of your fave pieces that transition from workplace chic to casual cool?

    1. Thanks Kate! Francesca's has some awesome pieces, but I'm horrible about trying stuff on in the store. That is one place I definitely have to force myself in the dressing room for since everything run so differently.
